Valle del Sol

Valle del Sol is an exceptional public golf course situated in the Santa Ana area of San José. It is conveniently located near large office parks such as Forum and luxurious hotels like the Marriott Costa Rica, Intercontinental, Residence Inn Costa Rica, Courtyard, and Sheraton. 

The course offers a breathtaking view of the volcanoes Poás and Barva in the north and a mountain range in the south. You will encounter an abundance of flora and fauna while playing golf, including a variety of birds. 

Designed by the renowned architect Tracy May, the course consists of 18 holes (par 72) laid out in an interesting way with plenty of water hazards. The first 9 holes are surrounded by beautiful old trees, while the back nine are more open and spacious. The course has two "faces" - with or without wind. From December to March, a strong summer wind often blows, adding an extra challenge to your game. Most holes have a difference of 60 yards between the white tees and black tees, providing a variety of shot options.
