Turrialba Volcano National Park

The Turrialba Volcano National Park is located by the town of Turrialba at the southeast end of the Central Volcanic Corridor. After being dormant for more than 100 years, the Turrialba Volcano (3´328m / 10´919ft) increased its activity in 2014, and especially during 2016.

The Turrialba Volcano National Park is currently closed due to volcanic and seismic activity.
