If you are looking for calmness, this is the place. Great location, beautiful views and well-maintained grounds. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area. However, if you like it here, there are also lounger chairs and hammocks all around the resort where you can simply do nothing at all but wait for your drink. It’s really all up to you!

A large property located in the south of the Nicoya Peninsula and right in front of Playa Quizales. The hotel facilities are located close to the beach, while the golf course, some villas and a fantastic lookout point are located above the cliffs. Paquera, the village where the ferry arrives, is 45 minutes away from the hotel. It takes 25 minutes to get to Tambor airstrip. Montezuma and Cabo Blanco National Park are 12 km away from Tango Mar.

Transfer Time:

3.5 to 4 hours from San José depending on the waiting time at the ferry. If you choose to fly, it takes 25 minutes to Tambor’s airstrip and from there 15 minutes by car to Tango Mar.
